At Medina Nursing Center, our Respite Care Services offer support to both the patient and their caregivers whether it is a loved one or hired caregivers at home. Respite Care is designed to provide temporary relief for primary caregivers and the patient. Respite care provides patients with quality, short-term care in a safe and caring environment. If you are going on vacation and need a  place for your loved one, reach out to our Admissions Director at (815) 306-8127 for more information! If you are a veteran looking for respite care, reach out to your VA social worker and ask them to send a referral over to Medina for review. The VA pays up to 2 weeks of respite care in a calendar year. Our care team is dedicated to providing compassionate, quality care to patients regardless of their length of stay.
